Faith & Life Grade 8 · Chapter 9 · Mary, Mother of the Church

Catholics do not worship Mary. The Church distinguishes adoration (latria), which belongs to God alone, from the honor (dulia) given to saints, and the highest honor among creatures (hyperdulia) given to Mary (CCC 971).
