Faith & Life Grade 7 · Chapter 30 · Sacramentals
Sacrament or Sacramental?
Sacramentals are sacred signs instituted by the Church. They prepare us to receive grace and help us respond to it, but they work through the prayer of the Church and our own faith, not in the way the seven Sacraments do (CCC 1667-1670).
Explore the idea
Read each statement and decide whether it is true of the Sacraments, of sacramentals, or of both.
